- Patron: Is there a computer I can use? I need to print something.
- Me: The library is actually closed for the evening. All of the computers are on timers, so they shut down when we close and restart when we open. We will reopen tomorrow morning at 8:30.
- Patron: But can you just turn one on for me?
- Me: No. The computers require passwords that I don't have access to.
- Patron: But what about this computer? [points at circulation desk computer.]
- Me: This computer has been shut down and needs a password too.
- Patron: But my printer is broken and I really need to print something for my doctor--I mean, the president of the college.
- Me: The library is closed. The only reason I'm sitting here is to tell people the library is closed. Try a public library.
- Patron: But--
- Me: We are closed.

Showing some love for letters! I’ve acquired some awesome pen pals lately, and I wanted to express my love for snail mail and letters in a new button :)
